METHVEN SWIMMING CARNIVAL, fob medal, handcrafted in silver (32x32mm), no maker, ring top suspension, obverse inscribed 'WLC', reverse inscribed 'Methven Swimming Carnival/First/16-12-16'. Very fine.

The Methven Swimming Carnival was held at the Methven Baths on Anniversary Day. The winner of the Boys 30 yds race was Lionel Cranfield (probably the above WLC - William Lionel Cranfield).
