OUR SOLDIERS' QUEEN AUCKLAND, Military Fete, 1915, in bronze (29mm), by Y & Co (Young & Co, Auckland), ring top suspension, reverse inscribed 'Boy Scouts/Tug of War'. Edge bumps, some pitting, otherwise good fine and rare.

The military fete was held at the Domain in Auckland on 24 November 1915 in support of the Soldiers' Queen. It commenced with a parade of territorials, senior cadets, members of the National reserve and boy scouts marching from Queen Street to the Domain and on arrival at the ground there was a march-past before Colonel Hume, officer commanding the district.
