UNITED FIRE BRIGADES ASSOCIATION OF N Z/CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL, Long Service Medal for five years service, struck in silver (38mm), no maker (Henry Griffith (Birmingham), obverse design as per later Teutenberg issues), missing ribbon, with (10) 2 Years Service bars (9 signed Teutenberg [one illustrated], 1 unsigned possibly Griffith [illustrated]) loose plus clasp with pin-back, reverse inscribed 'Branchman/Geo.King/Mch 1888'(cfD&C.L3, plate XIV [this medal]) [illustrated]. Toned, extremely fine and extremely rare.
