P.V.F.B. (Paeroa Volunteer Fire Brigade), (1895), hand engraved in voided silver (32x33mm), no maker, ring top suspension (this broken), obverse inscribed 'Won By T. Schfield', reverse inscribed 'Hose & Hydrant/Presented By/P.V.F.B./Dec. 1895'. Toned very fine.

Fireman Schofield was a member of the No.1 5-man team from the Thames Volunteer Fire Brigade which won the Hose and Hydrant event at the Paeroa Fire Brigade Sports held in December 1895 at Paeroa under the patronage of the Thames Volunteer Fire Brigade.
