(Anton Teutenberg, Auckland), with (3) 2 Years Service bars, reverse inscribed 'Superintendent/A.Craig/By The/Wellington/M.Fire Brigade/27-4-1913' (D&C.L3; O&D.115); Honorary Life Member medal in silver (35x45mm), by A.T. (Anton Teutenberg, Auckland), reverse inscribed 'Presented to/Past President/Supt. A.Craig/by the/U.F.B.A./9.3.1937' (D&C.L8; O&D.115). Good very fine. (2)
Apart from his many duties as Superintendent of Hamilton Fire Brigade Superintendent A.Craig was elected president of the United Fire Brigades' Accident Assurance Society in 1926. He was also president of the United Fire Brigades' Association and vice president of the New Zealand Fire Brigades and Members' Institute, elected in 1936.
