UNITED FIRE BRIGADES ASSOCIATION OF N Z, Long Service Medal for five years service, in silver (39mm), by A.T. (Anton Teutenberg, Auckland), with (7) 2 Years Service bars, reverse inscribed 'Fireman/C.Chapman/Ellerslie V.F.B./6-10-18' (D&C.L3; O&D.115), also suspension bar inscribed 'Ellerslie M.F.B.' Contact marks, otherwise very fine.
In July 1926 C.Chapman was elected Foreman of the Ellerslie Volunteer Fire Brigade, a position he still held in 1933.^^Ex Mowbray Collectables Numismatic Auction 25 (lot 199).
