(Anton Teutenberg, Auckland), with (5) 2 Years Service bars and ribbon buckle bar, reverse inscribed 'Fireman/A.C.Gulland/by/Newmarket V.F.B./3.12.23' (D&C.L3; O&D.115); handcrafted prize fob medal in gold (9ct, approx 6.5g, 25x31.5mm), no maker, ring top suspension with short ribbon on pin, 'A.C.G' inscribed diagonally on obverse shield, reverse inscribed 'One Man/Champ/P.F.B. (Papatoetoe Fire Brigade)/1932'; another in gold (9ct, 5.12g, 25x34.5mm), maker O (?), ring top suspension, 'A.C.G' inscribed diagonally on obverse shield, reverse inscribed 'One Man/Champ/P.F.B. (Papatoetoe Fire Brigade)/1936'. The first with dark toning and some small edge nicks and hairlines, ribbon damaged, otherwise very fine. (3)

The annual one-man championship contest held by members of Papatoetoe Fire Brigade for the Mawke's Cup was won by Deputy-Superintendent A.C.Gulland in 1932 and again in 1936.
