MASONIC, Lodge Araranci No 297, 1961-62, Past Master's jewel, handcrafted in yellow and rose gold and fitted with four claw set rubies (or garnets?) (9ct, tot wt 33.26g, 62x42mm), no maker, ring-top suspension with 9ct suspension and ribbon stick-pin bar, affixed to the ribbon is a gold circular emblem with recipient's monogram initials 'ACM' in centre and around the outside 'Araranci No 297', reverse of jewel inscribed 'Presented To/W.Bro. A.C.Montgomery/by The Officers & Bretheren/Lodge Araranci No.297/As a Token of Esteem/3rd. September 1962'. In a case, extremely fine.
