(Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes), Order of Merit jewel, 11-5-54, with suspender clasps inscribed '2-2-40 and 4-5-43', in 9ct gold and enamel (approx wt 20.5g, but centrepiece not gold), with top bar and stick-pin (pin missing) and with N.Z. fern leaf metal and enamel emblem and a Knight of Honour badge affixed to ribbon, reverse inscribed '11-5-54/This Order/of Merit was/conferred upon/Bro. L.Jenkins C.P./By The/Clitton Ldg./As A Mark Of Appreciation For/His Services In The Cause Of/Buffaloism/And Their regard/For Him As A/Man &/Brother'. Ribbon damaged, otherwise good fine.
