(Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes), Knight of the Order of Merit (3rd Degree) jewel, struck in enamel and gold (9ct, 21.82g, 35x35mm), by Young & Co, Auckland, with scroll and ring top suspension, ribbon with lower fern leaf suspender bar and upper Queen's crown ensigned Roll Of Honour stick-pin suspender bar, missing stick-pin, affixed to the ribbon is an enamel and gilt NZ fern leaf and also a gilt and bronze emblem inscribed '16.6.51/16.10.61/30.1.93', reverse of jewel inscribed 'J.Bicknell/This Order Of/Merit Was/Conferred Upon/Bro. J.Adams C'P./By The/Napier Ldg.37/As A Mark Of Appreciation For/His Services In The Cause Of/Buffaloism/And Their Regard/For Him As A/Man & Brother/30.1.1993'. Very fine.
