AUCKLAND LAW SCHOOL, Gary Davies Memorial Prize, Advocacy, struck uniface in silver (51mm), by M&K (Mayer & Kean, Wellington), reverse inscribed 'A.Shaw/Stout Shield, 1976'. Some minor rim nicks, otherwise extremely fine and scarce.

This prize medal was established in 1965 by a donation from Mrs Hazel Marion Davies in memory of her son, Thomas Gary Davies, who was a student in the Faculty of Law at the University of Auckland from 1960 to 1962. The annual prize recognises law students who have been awarded the Sir Robert Stout Moot Shield.
