CROMWELL, presentation plaque, 1927, uniface, handcrafted in gold (9ct, 19.27g, 62x66mm), no maker, three pierced holes at edge for attachment, obverse inscribed 'Presented to/Mr & Mrs D.C.Jolly/as a Token of Esteem/From their Friends/in the/Cromwell District/4th April 1927'. Some hairlines, otherwise very fine.

Mr D.C.Jolly was the Mayor of Cromwell. The last meeting on the Cromwell Borough Council at which he presided was held on 4 April 1927.
