POLLOK (SCHOOL) JUBILEE, 1883-1948, badge in silver (26mm), no maker, stick-pin, attached to a cord suspended card with printed details 'Pollok/School Jubilee/Saturday, May 8th, 1948./Pollok School Pupil/Name/As On School Roll/Year Of Entry' and written in pen 'Margaret E.Hamilton/1898'; Pollok School Jubilee, 1883-1958, tinnie badge (32mm), pin-back. The last badge surface lifting at one point of edge, otherwise very fine. (2 + card)
Pollok School is located on Awhitu Road, Waiuku. On 13 May 1914, ex pupil, Margaret E. Hamilton was married to Mr Leslie G.Watts of Pirongia, Te Awamutu. The wedding was celebrated at 'Waimatuka', Awhitu with the officiating minister being Rev. A.A.Murray of St Andrew's, Auckland.
