W.E.R.C. (West End Rowing Club), shield in silver (38x47mm), by Kohn (Khon & Co, Wellington [Sigfried]), pin-back, obverse inscribed 'W.E.R.C./1919-20/Kohn Shield/Won By/S.Hunt/3'. Very fine.
The Kohn Shield was contested annually within the West End Rowing Club by means of a series of trial fours. S.Hunt was in the 3 seat of the winning crew on the weekend of 17 April 1920 held at St Mary's Bay along with other crew members, A.Ryan, stroke, and D.McNamara and B.Collins.
