WRC (WELLINGTON ROWING CLUB), 1920-21, fob medal, handcrafted in gold (9ct, 6.17g, 27mm), no maker, scroll and ring top suspension, reverse inscribed 'G.Wilson./Club Fours/Senior Fours/Senior Pairs/. Toned, good very fine.

Prizes and trophies won by club members were presented to the winners at a 'social' and dance given by members of the Wellington Rowing Club in mid-June 1921. In addition to his gold medal, G.Wilson also was a recipient of a representative cap (for regatta winners).
