FAMILY PAIR, (Pioneer Motor-Cycle Club), fob medal, hand engraved in voided gold (9ct, 2.54g, 27x30.5mm), no maker, ring top suspension, obverse inscribed 'GH', reverse inscribed 'G.Henderson/1st/In 4 Mile Solo/7-2-20'; N.Z. Championship, 5 Mile Cycle, 1927, fob medal, crafted in voided gold (9ct, 14.88g, 35.5x39mm), by W.Good (Gisborne), ring top suspension, reverse inscribed 'N.S.C & C.S. (Ngatapa Sports Club and Caledonian Society)/Won By/J.Henderson'. Very fine. (2)

G.Henderson won the four miles solo handicap race for private owners held at New Brighton on 7 February 1920 riding a 7 h.p. Harley Davidson, and starting from scratch.
