W.A.D.C.C.S. (Wellington Associated Drapers' Cricket Clubs' Sports), handcrafted in gold (18ct, 11.50g, 28x28.5mm), no maker, pin-back and with loop at back top, obverse with stylised raised letters 'CDP', reverse inscribed 'W.A.D.C.C.S./Mile Walk/Putting Weight/2nd/Won By/C.D.Pike./1893.'. Good very fine.
At the W.A.D.C.C.S. held at the Basin Reserve, C.D.Pike, starting off 30 yards and representing Warnock, Kelly and Adkin, came second in the One Mile Walk and in the Putting the Weight competition he also came second with a distance of 25ft 5in, just behind the winner who scored 27 ft.^^With research.
