WRESTLING, 1931, fob medal, handcrafted in voided gold (9ct, 5.17g, 24x34mm), by A.Kohn (Adolph Kohn, Auckland), ring top suspension, reverse inscribed 'Hardleys/Light Wrestling Champ/Runner-up/N.Carey/1931'. Suspension loop refitted, otherwise very fine.
Hardleys Ltd was an Auckland based firm dealing in hardware and the manufacture and importation of plumbing requisites and also the manufacture of dairying utensils.
