VARIOUS BADGES, includes Guide Dog Day on card of issue; The Interislander Arahura tourism related on Collectors World card; Lifebuoy League Of Health Guards on card of issue; also attached to this last card are badges for Marlborough M.R.R.A.; Rugby West Coast Referees Assn; I Am A Cococub, with suspended bar 'MFBEFS' (Cococub code for 'Leader' [see below]); WA (?) CC (Croquet Club); MU (Manchester Unity); also prize fobs in silver (3), all untitled and unnamed and all with ring top suspension. Very fine - uncirculated. (12)
The Cococub league was founded by Cadbury-Bournville, the cocoa makers, from 1936-39. It was revived in the 1950s but was short-lived. The league had a secret code which was to replace the letter with that immediately preceding it in the alphabet e.g. M (L) F (E) B (A) E (D) F (E) S (R).
