JAPAN, mammoth ivory, (c.10,000 years old), modern carving of the Lord of Satsuma Province on horseback, in full regalia holding sword, Satsuma family crest carved into the body, on custom timber base signed below, (32cm high / 26cm wide). Extremely fine and rare.
