MAURITIUS, The Government of Mauritius, 1919 issue, one rupee, Port Louis, 1st July 1919, A/3 25702, another A/11 00531 (P.19), the second 'Salved from SS Engineer after being sunk by fire at Lorenzo Marques'. Very good or better. (2)

In June 1920, the S.S. Engineer caught fire and sank at Delagoa Bay, Lorenzo Marques. The ship was carrying a shipment of one rupee bank notes (P.19 and B311) prefix A/11 - A/15 bound for Mauritius.
