CHINA, Chou Dynasty, early - middle period, (from 650 - 400 B.C.), large size hollow handled spade money type, with pointed feet, (38.02 g), height 102mm, (Hartill 2.x [unlisted symbol] cf.2.93, cf.TFP 16). Green oxidation on most of surface, earthen deposits, corrosion hole in handle, otherwise very fine and very rare.
