HUNGARY, large gold medal (36.42g), not dated, (but 19 century), 43mm fine cast gold medal (struck as a medallic ten ducat) of uncertain high fineness, obv. St. George slaying dragon below with S. GEORGIVS EQVITVM PATRONVS around, rev. Christ and apostles on sailing ship in storm with IN TEMPESTATE: SECVRITAS around, plain edge. Worn very fine and very rare this large.

Struck as a good luck and presentation piece.
