INDIA, Victoria Empress, Calcutta International Exhibition, 1883-84, in bronze (77mm) by J.S.& A.B.Wyon (P.883.2.1). In Wyon, London, case of issue gilt blocked on outside of case 'Calcutta/International/Exhibition/1883/84' below Queen's crown, inside of lid gilt blocked 'H.Irving, Esq.,/Member/Executive Committee' on purple satin. The case is damaged but the embossed lettering is undamaged, medal nearly uncirculated.
