WORLD MEDALS, HMS Vicory and Foudroyant, 1907, elaborate copper shield with oval portrait of Nelson and a depiction of his ship, presented by Lord Strathcona for Canadian schools, made from copper of the Victory and Foudroyant, (180 x 145 mm) (illustrated); "Hollandia", silver medal depicting the ship Hollandia that foundered on the isles of Scilly, 1743, made from silver recovered from the wreck, (38mm); another similar but in bronze, (both cased with certificates of authenticity). Extremely fine and scarce. (3)
