IONIA, Phokaia, (c.387-322 B.C.), electrum hekte or sixth stater, (2.51 g), obv. helmeted head of Athena to left, with serpent emblazoned on helmet, rev. quadripartite incuse punch, (cf.S.4530, Bodenstedt 111, Boston 1913, SNG Cop. 1030, SNG Berry 1086). Good very fine and rare.
