ITALY, Campania, Neapolis (Naples), (c.320-300 B.C.), silver stater or didrachm, (7.39 g), obv. head of nymph to right, kantharos behind, **DI* below, rev. man-headed bull walking to right, crowned by Nike flying right above, below bull K, in exergue **[N]EOPOLITHS*, (cf.S.307, Sambon 447, SNG ANS 320, SNG Munich 244). Attractive patina, nearly extremely fine and scarce.
