LESBOS, Mytilene, (c.412-378 B.C.), electrum hekte or sixth stater, 10mm, (2.54 g), obv. bearded head of Ares right, wearing crested Attic helmet, rev. crested Corinthian helmet facing in linear square within incuse square. (S.-, Bodenstedt Em. 66,; HGC 6, 992). Good very fine and very rare, struck with worn dies.
