VISIGOTH, Spain, gold tremissis in the name of Egica with Wittiza, (A.D.687-702), Narbona Mint, (1.24 g), obv. facing busts of Egica and Witizza, Latic cross between, + I.D.N MN EGICA [RX] around, rev. VVITTIZA [RX] EG around, monogram AN OR to centre. (cf.CNV 584.10, cf.Miles type A/B, cf.MV 714 e-f. Struck with slightly rusted obverse die, reverse double struck, very fine and very rare.
