THRACE, Apollonia Pontika, (400-350 B.C.), silver drachm, (3.28 g), obv. laureate head of Gorgoneion facing with curls, rev. anchor, A to left, crayfish to right of anchor, (cf.S.1655, ACNAC Dewing 1277, SNG BMC 162, SNG Cop.456, BMC (Mysia) 11-12, Pozzi 2564). Attractive, nearly extremely fine.

Ex Baldwin's London, October 5, 1987 as a private purchase in collector detailed hand written 2x2 holder.
