THESSALY, Larissa, (under Macedonian domination), (400-370 B.C.), silver drachm, (6.08 g), obv. facing head of nymph Larissa three-quarter to left, hair in ampyx, rev. horse grazing to left on plant on ground line, above **[L]ARISA[I]*, (cf.S.2120, BCD Thessaly II 226, Lorber Group 2, Head type 4 dies 012/R-, HGC 4, 432 [R2]). Good very fine with attractive grey tone, slightly off centred, very rare.

Ex BCD Collection who bought it in May 1995 for 300 Sfr., with ticket and photos.^A similar example in CNG eSale 503 (lot 142) in 2021 realised US $1200.
