BOEOTIA, Federal Coinage, (c.225-171 B.C.), silver drachm, (5.01 g), obv. laureate head of Poseidon right, rev. Nike standing left, resting on trident and holding wreath, no control marks, **BOIWTWN*, downwards to left, (S.2404, BCD Boiotia 144). Good very fine, lightly toned, softly struck, rare.

Ex BCD Collection, CNG Sale 75 (lot 198), May 23 2007, previously from Kricheldorf Auction Sale XXXV, 23 October 1981, (lot 280), with detailed collector's description and photos tickets etc. ^
