BAKTRIA, Kingdom of, Eukratides I, (171-135 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.92 g), obv. diademed and draped bust of Eucratides to right all within dotted border, rev. the Dioscouroi on horseback to right holding spears and palms, monogram of *FI* to right, below in exergue **EUKRATIDOU, above **BASILEWS, (S.7568, SNG ANS 432, Bopearachchi Series 1D, Mitchiner 1.168a). Extremely fine in high relief, minor flan crack, a rare variant.
