MOESIA INFERIOR, Nicopolis ad Istrum, Elagabalus, (AD 218-222), AE 26mm (13.29 g), Novius Rufus, consular legate, obv. radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right, nimbate serpent, (AMNG I 1996, cf.Varbanov 3883) (illustrated); others of various reverses and sizes (including four lines with legend and wreath, emperor at altar; Priapus [AMNG I 2022] rare; Asklepios and serpent on staff [Mouchmov 1379], (illustrated); cista mystica; Nemesis with scales and cubit rule. Fine - very fine, some scarce. (7)
