ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), AE as, (9.54 g), Rome Mint, issued A.D. 147, obv. laureate head of Antoninus Pius to right, around ANTONINVS AVG PI VS P P TR P COS III, rev. SPQR/ OPTIMO/ PRINCIPI /SC in four lines within oak wreath, (S.4314, RIC 827a, C.791). Dark brown patina, attractive nearly extremely fine and rare in this condition.
