LUCIUS VERUS, (161-169 A.D.), silver denarius, issued 165 A.D., Rome Mint, (3.09 g), obv. laureate cuirassed bust of Lucius Verus to right, around L VERVS AVG ARM PARTH MAX, rev. TR P V IMP III COS II around, Parthian with hands bound sitting right, bow, bowcase and shield at his feet, (S.5358, RIC 541, RSC 274). Lightly toned, nearly extremely fine and scarce.
