PROBUS, (A.D. 276-282), base silver antoninianus, Rome Mint (3.63 g), obv. radiate bust to right of Probus cuirassed, around IMP PRO BVS AVG, rev. emperor riding to left, holding sceptre with captive at foot, around ADVENTVS AVG, R cresent **D* in exergue, (cf.S.11953, RIC 157, C.39). Extremely fine and scarce.
