GROUP OF FOUR: Pacific Star; Defence Medal 1939-45; War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45; also Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes Attendance Medal. NX14604 M.L.Weary on the first four medals, 'Pres to/Bro/M.Weary/Lodge Kyogle/No. 240./for Attendance/1957' on last medal. The first four medals impressed, the last medal engraved. Display mounted, very fine - extremely fine.

The above is the full medal entitlement.^Mervyn Louraine Weary, farm labourer, age 23, born at Kyogle, NSW; Enl.21May1941 at Paddington, NSW; Disch.01Feb1945 as Private with 2/33 Aust Infy Bn with overseas service in Middle East 03Sep1941 to 10Mar1942 and New Guinea 31Aug1942 to 08Jan1943; Died as the result of a motor accident in 1957; the above medals were issued to his mother in 1958.
