TRENCH ART, chromed artillery shell used to make a vase, the base stamped 2 Pr No.1 Mk II, also Lot 109 BPF X8 in a circle, N beside an upright arrow, this over 1939, other markings as well, affixed at one side is a small Rising Sun badge (KC) in bronze and then silvered, some of this worn off and some of the chrome worn; also a large crystal glass rod (40cm), with circular pattern on the entire length and with flat knobs at both ends, a centre plain panel is marked in high relief, '1041'. The first with small bump to the turned top edge, the second with some chipping to one of the flat ends of the glass rod, otherwise fine - very fine. (2)
