TRENCH ART, ashtray made from the base of a chromed artillery shell, the base with '25Pr/II/168/MC/upright defence arrow/1942/CF' and other markings, upright in the centre is a large machine gun shell case with cartridge fitted and this with a rod inserted at the top, the base with three cigarette rests; a small brass barrel probably made from a shell casing, no lid or markings; what is possibly part of an engine cylinder marked on the inside, 'Repco', affixed to the top is a crafted silvered metal Handley Page Hampden aircraft. All need cleaning, otherwise fine. (3)
