MASONIC JEWELS AND REGALIA, includes Lodge Commonwealth of Australia No.633 UGLNSW, jewel, handcrafted in gilt sterling silver, with engraved pin-back suspender, attached to the ribbon are the voided initials, 'EJLM', the reverse of the jewel inscribed, 'Presented to/Wor Bro/E.J.Le Mesurier W.M/By Members of/Lodge Commonwealth of Australia/No633NSW/As a Mark of Esteem/1956-57'; Royal Arch Companion's jewel in gilt, unnamed; Freemason's Benevolent Institution (FBI), Life Governor jewel in gilt and enamel, by Denham Neal & Treloar, reverse with impressed number 2520, with four gilt stars affixed to ribbon; NSW Masonic Youth Welfare Fund, Subscriber jewel, in gilt and enamel, with neck ribbon, reverse with impressed number 1289; Royal Ark Mariners jewel in nickel and enamel, unnamed, by Blashki; Royal Arch Keystone jewel with letters, 'HTWSSTKS' (Hiram, Tyrian, Widows Son Sent To King Solomon); also three Masonic aprons, one bone with shoulder sash, one light blue, and one maroon with embroidered Royal Ark Mariners ribbon colours in centre, all with appropriate fittings and attachments. The first in case, very fine - extremely fine. (lot)

Together with various Masonic certificates for Edward James Le Mesurier, as well as some Masonic documents and a leather carry case (approx 43x19x7cm), for all the Masonic Lodge regalia, on the lid is gold blocked, 'E.J.LeM.' (Edward James Le Mesurier).
Edward James Le Mesurier of Narrabundah, ACT, born 3 July 1911; Initiated Lodge Hiram No.132 NSW 21.12.1937; Raised to Third Degree 17.5.1938; 'Called Off' Lodge Hiram after transfer of employment to Broken Hill 18.2.1941; affiliated with Lodge Willyama No.178 (Broken Hill) 9.4.1941; 'Called Off' Lodge Willyama to join Lodge Commonwealth of Australia No.633 N.S.W. 10.3.1944; affiliated with Lodge Commonwealth of Australia No.633 1.5.1944; installed as Worshipful Master of Lodge Commonwealth of Australia No.633 1.12.1956; Director of Ceremonies, Lodge Commonwealth of Australia 1959-60 to 1963-64; Director of Music 2.12.1967. Other Masonic activities - exalted as Royal Arch Mason, Australia Chapter, No.87, NSW Constitution 20.1.1961; advanced as Mark Master Mason in Canberra Mark Lodge No.100 NSW Constitution 13.2.1961; Foundation Member of Canberra Lodge of Research and Instruction 1965. Occupation - Officer of Commonwealth Public Service since January 1926.
