DSO GROUP OF NINE TO WIA: Distinguished Service Order (GVIR 1st cipher); British War Medal 1914-18; 1939-45 Star; Africa Star, - clasp - 8th Army; Pacific Star; Defence Medal 1939-45; War Medal 1939-45 with MID; Australia Service Medal 1939-45; Efficiency Decoration (EIIR) with Australia suspender. First medal unnamed as issued, 69244 A-L-Cpl A.A.C. Carter. G.S.R. A.I.F. on second medal, VX13696 A.A.C. Carter on third to eighth medals, 3/87002 Maj. A.A.C. Carter. C.M.F. on last medal. The second to eighth medals impressed and the ninth medal engraved. Display court mounted, nearly extremely fine.
Group originally donated to Naval & Military Club by Mrs Carter.
