TIBERIUS II CONSTANTINE, (A.D. 578-582), gold tremissis, Constantinople Mint, (1.45 g), obv. Tiberius II Constantine bust to right, with pearl-diadem, wearing cuirass and paludamentum, around dN COSTAN TINVS PP AC, rev. cross potent, around VICTOR TIBERIAUS, in exergue CONOB, (S.425, DOC 7, R.923-4, MIBE 9b, BMC 14ff). A strong strike, off centred, crinkled, nearly extremely fine.
