THRACE (BLACK SEA AREA), Apollonia Pontika, (400-350 B.C.), silver drachm, (2.88 grams), obv. laureate head of Gorgoneion facing, rev. anchor, A to left, crayfish to right of anchor, (S.1657, SNG BMC 161 (similar dies), BMC (Mysia) 11-12). Attractive, nearly extremely fine.
