MACEDON, time of Philip V and Perseus, Pella or Amphipolis Mint, (187-168 B.C.), silver tetrobol (2.54 g), obv. Macedonian shield, in centre MA/KE, rev. Macedonian helmet with cheek pieces, two monograms to left, monogram and trident to right, (S.1387, SNG Ashmolean 3280, SNG Cop 1283, Schild M39). Toned, good very fine.
