AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), silver denarius, uncertain Spanish mint (Colonia Caesar Augusta), issued 19-18 B.C. (3.71 g), obv. bare head of Augustus to right around CAESAR AVGVSTVS, rev. OB CIVIS/ [S]ERVATOS in two lines between which is an oak-wreath, (cf.S.1625, RIC 75a, RSC 210). Lightly toned, surface pitting, nearly very fine and rare.
