MAXIMINUS, (A.D. 235-238), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.556 grams), issued 235-236, obv. IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. PROVIDENTIA AVG, Providentia standing to left with baton and cornucopiae, globe at feet, (S.8315, RIC 13, RSC 77). Dark grey tone, nearly extremely fine and scarce.
