PIETAS AVGG, sacrificial implements, lituus, knife, vase turned left, simpulum and aspergillum, (S.10767, RIC V 9, RSC 41) (illustrated); Salonina, wife of Gallienus, (died A.D. 268), antoninianus, Rome Mint, (3.04 g), issued 260-262 A.D., obv. diademed veiled and draped bust of Salonina to right on crescent, around SALONINA AVG, rev. Vesta seated left, holding patera and sceptre, Q in exergue, (S.10665, RIC 32Q, RSC 139); Valerian, (A.D. 253-260), silver antoninianus, Rome Mint (2.95 g), obv. radiate and draped bust to right, around IMP C P LIC VALERIANVS AVG, rev. VICTORIA AVGG, Victory standing left holding wreath and palm, (cf.S.9991, RIC 125, RSC 230). Toning, nearly very fine - good very fine, scarce. (3)
