YURI GAGARIN, signed b&w photograph, c.1950s, image of Gagarin in uniform with signature in blue below, (16.5 x 11mm). Very fine and scarce.

In 1961 Soviet Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin became the first man in space, performing a single orbit of Earth in the Vostok 1 capsule. He was killed in 1968, during a regular training flight.^
