CHINA, Qing Dynasty, blue and white porcelain lidded ancestor box, decorated with leafy garlands and floral emblems around sides, a large eyed butterfly amongst foliage on the lid, surrounded by a meander-like pattern, with an inscription inside commemorating an ancestor. Some wear around edges, tape residue around centre, very fine.
